My favorite part about attending Rocky Mountain High school has been some of the amazing people and staff i've come in contact with. I'm grateful for a strong school community that feels almost like a family. However, something that has been hard is going through trials and having to continue to go to school and feel invisible. Teachers and staff could do a better job at making their students feel seen and simply asking how they are doing.

Throughout my time at RMHS, I've had my fair share of good and bad experiences. I'm not going to try and talk bad about it because the school itself isn't bad, it was just because I wasn't really involved with anything and so therefore, I don't know totally what it's like. For example, the football games. I have not gone to a SINGLE football game throughout my whole time at RMHS, yet I hear it all the time how we have one of the best football teams in Idaho. I'll just have to assume that, yes, we have a great football team, even when I don't know if we do. What I can say for a fact though is that the teachers and staff at Rocky are very nice and supportive. Theres maybe like ONE outlier that is very rude, but thankfully I've never had them before (unlike my friends). We had a lockdown one time that was not prepared for, and they shut the whole school down just to make sure everyone was safe, which was nice. But yeah, I dont really have many complaints. Except the food. I hate it.

has little to no diversity, does not make students of different ethnicity's feel welcome. When a child is met with a racial encounter expect them to say they can't do anything about it.

West Ada schools are very over crowded. I have had 2 students in this school. My youngest transferred to a private school her senior year because her experience was so horrible. My oldest later shared how awful his experience was. Both kids started in the district in Kindergarten.
