Over the past five years as a student at Haas Hall Academy Rogers, I have witnessed numerous changes, including the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic and the transition to a new building due to issues with the previous facility.

Haas is supposed to be one of the best schools in the state. Well education in AR is in a sorry state. The place is run like a prison for no reason. While other campuses are more relaxed - here every single rule is enforced with glee. Worse though is the complete lack of curiosity and challenge of ideas. My child's exams focus on rote memorization. She has had two years of absolutely dismal English teachers. This place might raise your ACT score but it won't truly prepare you. We are leaving and I don't encourage anyone to take our spot.

My time at Haas Hall academy has been the best school experience of my life. The best parts about my time here have been meeting likeminded people, getting involved in lots of extracurriculars, and the amazing classes I have taken. There isn't much that I want to be changed, but if I had to choose something, it would be improving the events and fundraisers that the school does.
