Follow the rules. Be a kind person. Try your best. These are three of the guiding principles at George A. Buljan Middle School, home of the Bulldogs. Located in northern Roseville’s Highland Reserve neighborhood, this public institution serves 6th through 8th grades.
Parents praise the school for its plethora of extracurricular activities. Take the Builder’s Club, for instance, which teaches participants the importance of community service and engagement. Or the Juggling Club, where students improve their eye-hand coordination while developing a unique skill.
Though Buljan Middle School adheres to a traditional curriculum, it also provides STEM and woodshop classes to build upon foundational skills and introduce students to new topics. Buljan Bulldogs can even opt into AVID, a schoolwide elective that prepares them for high school, college and future careers. Emerging athletes are encouraged to try out for cross country, flag football or basketball.

Went here one year and left because of my experience of being bullied. Know several others who had similar experiences. Pretty good academics and athletics though.

School is extremely racist and do not help you if your child is getting bullied. I watched kids get beat up and the bully’s get no punishment. Got called schizophrenic when a kid ruined my things and when I had to pray for Ramadan they refused to let me go because they thought Ramadan was fake.

I don’t go to this school but I do know that some special ed kid just recently got beat up until unconscious by a girl all because he accidentally threw an apple at said girl. For the love of god, parents, raise your children better than this, it’s sickening.

My niece has been repeatedly bullied and attacked (witnesses and videos taken) for a year and nothing has been done, this school and the entire district is a joke.
