RCDS represents a community of like minded parents, students, faculty and teachers. We truly believe that all members of the community wish the best for our children. Our children have thrived in a safe but challenging environment where curiosity, courage and kindness are encouraged and supported.

This could be an outstanding school but for several reasons it's just a good school. The main one is the fact that some parents are excessively involved and try to put pressure on teachers in order to get what they want. We are taking our son to another school next year.

Rye Country Day is the place for academically focused and passionate students who thrive in hardworking environments. With the strong support system of friends and teachers I've built since coming to RCDS as a freshman , I've grown not only as a student, but as a person.
