Going to St. Anthony Village High School immersed me in a diverse and welcoming community. Although I did not feel like necessarily connected with the school spirit, the friends I met throughout my 4 years of high school taught me more about myself than my academics did. I would like to see change in the administration, as well as school policies that shouldn't be enforced as much as they are.

Everyone at the school cares a lot about the arts, and our band program is one of the best for small schools in the state. There's a lot of concern about the administration ineffectively leading the district, but the teachers care deeply about the students. There aren't as many resources as a larger school would have, but it's an excellent small school near Minneapolis.

Curriculum is underdeveloped. Stopped offering advanced level classes. Very little diversity. Few solid teachers, but lots of not good ones.

This school along with the middle school have completely cratered in the past few years and have driven us to move to Shoreview so our kids can get a good education. The school is trying to be better. I as a parent is not happy with it. too much changes in principles, no diversity at all. no help with students beyond high school to help prepare them for the future.

Prepared me extremely well for both college & life. Have realized that most other schools don't even come close to having the level of individual attention that STA offers.
