Home of the Flyers, Crestwood Elementary has been educating the youth of Crestwood, Missouri since 1958. This public school is both a National Blue Ribbon recipient and a Missouri Gold Star School. Crestwood Elementary was also named a National School of Character based on programs that encourage good sportsmanship, cultural appreciation and friendship.
In recent years, the school’s fitness program has received national attention thanks to the school’s physical education teacher, who was named the 2021 Missouri Teacher of the Year for his creative virtual education videos. The school is also known for fun community events, such as the back-to-school celebration where incoming kindergarteners add their painted handprints to the exterior of their school bus.
Parents and students can also engage with the school through the latest educational software. The school’s website features a student learning management system and a portal to check grades and assignments.
