I have been attending St. Louis Park for many years. I believe over the years it has continued to grow in diversity and community. I enjoyed all the connections I was able to have with teachers that helped me grow into the person I am today. I am currently a senior and enrolled in a school program called NTA. It has been very helpful for my learning experience. NTA (non traditional academics) is a class that takes up 4 periods of your day and covers all the core classes you need. It allows time for making up work from previous years and the teachers are very understanding of mental health and other issues. I do believe that there is still growth to be made on what school funding goes to and more voices being heard in the school.

Good diversity. Lots of fights between students. Some good teachers. Should have more athletics like wrestling. There is a lot of nepotism within the athletic department administration. Investing in better facilities. Need better work-out room.

Our arts programs are severely underfunded. They recently re-decorated every room in the school and it feels stale. you go to class and you feel like you are in a hospital room, making it hard to concentrate. We have had problems with fighting, causing us to have to stay home from school because of safety issues.

I would say that it was very good. There is a lot of nice people and people from all over. You learn a lot and get to see and learn stuff from a lot of different perspectives. They have been changing curriculum to make it more relevant and informative. The teachers are really nice and try to get to...

I took either AP, IB or Honors classes every year, and was very challenged and learned a lot. The teachers are fantastic. Lots of opportunities to participate. Managed to do 3 sports, b...
