GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Personally, my high school experience was not bad. Before Covid, the last three years of high school were fun and enjoyable. We had assemblies every Friday, class competitions to win a trophy, most of the students were involved in clubs, and everyone got to see their friends. There have been some struggles shifting to the new "normal" but high school has still been a great experience.

I feel as if all of the teachers care very much about your well being and what your academics are like!

I loved the many opportunities that I had to be extremely involved in as many of the clubs and athletics that I wanted. I enjoy the smaller school setting and being able to easily know the names of almost everyone I go to school with. Many of the teachers are very involved with the education of their students and genuinely care for their success. All in all I have had a great time attending Salem Senior High School.

You have a teacher Ty McConnell that was preaching Marxism in class yesterday. I will be making a few calls to the AG in the morning. This is not going to fly here!
