Hmmm… my experience has not been that all 4th graders are asked their gender on the first day of school. Perhaps this came out of a social emotional activity, supporting the inclusive place so many people choose to live in. We are so lucky that Arroyo is a place where kids can feel safe and excepted...

Great school! Our son attended fifth grade after moving to the area from out of state. The academics were excellent. The teachers and administration were so supportive. They do a great job of applying evidence-based approaches to learning and development.
