Wonderful school with a large amount of diversity. Teachers are supportive of students and go the extra mile for them. Very much opportunity for AP courses with extensive offerings. Arts are a big focus. Missing a football program and sports is a focus but not the same school spirit as those schools with more athletics and football games.

the music program was amazing. large workload and a few uninvolved teachers. very invested in the arts and not so much in sports. good selection of courses. ms. bahner was the best counselor! many bad tenured teachers that administration refuses to get rid of.

It was an okay experience. The teachers can be condescending and rude sometimes. They can also be unhelpful and not want you to do well. Although I am doing well in college, it was incredibly difficult to do well.

My daughter goes to CCA currently and has had wonderful emotional support from her teachers and fellow students. The school is known for its academic, but they have an amazing art conservatory program as well. I feel she will be well prepared for college.

For parents of special needs children: San Dieguito school district will fight you tooth and nail for accommodations, and your child will get burned. They will promise you things that they will not do, and basically leave you with the option of suing the district. Be aware.

Wow-CCA is an amazing school. I have ever seen a culture that is so inclusive and the academic performance of the school and its students speaks for itself. There are so many options and offerings, I was blown away at back to school night. My son is thriving here. The arts programs are phenomenal......
