Del Norte High School is an extremely academically focused school that definitely strives to prepare their students to step into the next chapter of their life in college. Staff is more than invested in their student's success and provide a more than excellent job.

Del Norte High School is pretty good for college readiness and for education, but facilities like boys bathroom and food were pretty horrible for a school situated in a pretty rich area.

Del Norte was a very STEM and academic focused school and while it was very helpful in preparing me for college I felt there could have been a better balance. Music was very helpful in this as well as world language. Maybe a stronger emphasis on these aspects as well as others could help students have a more well rounded experience.

This school leads with punishments. Not grace or tolerance. You are tardy 5 times you get pushed out a club. Tardy 10 times, you get kicked out of the sports team. I would not recommend this school. The previous principal cared about the students. Now entire classes are bombing their grades or failing and the admin does nothing about it.
