I enjoyed my experience a lot. It was very inclusive and there was always a pathway for a student. My best experiences were in my extra curriculars, in the classroom (classroom engagement), or through student spirit in various aspects. However, one thing I would like to see change is an increased engagement and support for women's sports as we were often overlooked or not prioritized through opportunities compared to those of male sports.

Good overall vibe of the schools, most teachers are nice and want you to succeed, can be cliquey but not too much, school food sucks but it's the same in every school in our district.

Some of the teachers are very biased. However, robotics and other clubs such as science olympiad is very good to be a part of. One thing I realized is that Torrey Pines offers a lot more classes than most schools and has a very nice campus.

Great high school. One of the best in California. Had two students recently graduate and the transition to college was easy, both scholastically and socially. A very well-balanced high school that simultaneously excels in academics, social, and athletics. Very highly recommend Torrey Pines HS.

Great School. However, it is not academically driven. Most freshmen have Cs and Ds and don't care.

This school does well when everything is unicorns and rainbows. They have good solid teachers for the advanced students - students that want to do well and would exceed almost anywhere. For the students that are average to below or need a bit more help, this is not a good school and does not have ef...

Awful. As a military family, I have raised 3 children in 9 different schools across this country - with great success. Torrey Pines High School - administratively - has been a nightmare. The school's administration is unsupportive, unaccommodating and difficult to work with. From the first phone call...
