Something about John O'Connell is that it is a very small school but it is a good school. From experience, the sports team aren't as good as other schools. Academic wise it is good and has offered two advanced placement classes.

I like O'Connell because it prepared you to experiment the pathway you want to work on as an adult and they provided respect to the students. I will like to have more safety since the school has kids with some problems and I would like to let them talk to the people in school and have staff watching around the kids.

Being at john O'Connell was the best 4 years of my life. the school wasn't big so everyone there knows each other and we're all like a family. The staff at this school helped me a lot and cared about my education. They also introduced me to Black Student Union, a club that focused on the colored students and gave them the help they needed. They introduced me to HBCU's and more.

Everyone is involved, and you can see the teachers at work trying to improve everything. The staff makes sure the students are safe. They provide good opportunities for college.

John O'Connell is in the Hart of the Mission district. The Staff is amazing and dedicated to the students. This school is a small community within itself and has family enviornment.
