GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

There was a nice, encouraging culture at SRHS with friendly students. Even though the school got a bad rep, I think the teachers and curriculum were great and I learned a lot in my time there. Not a huge sports school, which is nice in some ways because it's more inclusive of who can play.

At San Rafael High, they offer a wide arrange of electives and course options. There is a new state of the art STEM building which hosts the engineering academy, and school offers multiple CTE programs to prepare students for after high school.

I am currently a Junior at San Rafael. I am enrolled in the Media Academy Program. I have nothing bad to say about this program. The teachers care about their students grades and their wellbeing. I am making 10 minute videos with high quality equipment. There is an incredible amount of creative free...
