I loved my time at Sandy Spring Friends School! I have been here since 6th grade and the community and curriculum are both wonderful. The only downside is there aren't as many people at the school though it serves to make the school a more tight knit community!

Sandy Spring has become a second home for me. There is so much it is doing well, with a welcoming community and great teachers. I do have a few areas where it could improve, however. The discipline policy has been a gigantic issue lately, and is creating a rift between the students and the administration. There are also some problematic issues regarding lack of respect of identity (from students), but with a new head of OIEJB coming in I see a bright future ahead.
