The James Russell Lowell Elementary School, named for the American writer and poet, is in partnership with the Santa Ana Boys and Girls Club (Club) and Santa Ana College (SAC) to provide literacy training and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for parents.
The school offers a curriculum that works to prepare pupils for higher education, helping them to strengthen their talents and skills. As one parent enthusiastically shared, “Lowell is an excellent school! The teachers are very driven and knowledgeable. Students gain a love for learning and reading.”
Lowell embraces technology in the classroom and students learn math, science and social studies with innumerable online tools. First built in 1922, Lowell Elementary was damaged by a 1971 earthquake before being rebuilt in 1973.
With a dedicated faculty and many academic and extracurricular options offered, Lowell Elementary provides its students with opportunities to thrive both academically and socially.
