The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Harbor High is a wonderful school with helpful teachers and good classes. It is an IB school so it has a lot of more difficult classes for those who want to try something a little harder, and you have the opportunity to complete the IB diploma which is great for college applications. The staff at Harbor is wonderful and although the campus can be kind of dirty sometimes, it is a beautiful campus. I am very happy to be going to Harbor.

The best experience was being able to become involved in multiple school activities and getting the opportunity to join new classes that weren't previously offered like guitar class

These past 4 years have been better than I expected for my high school years to go. Unfortunately my freshman year was online but that didn't stop my teachers from trying to keep the students entertained and engaged during online classes. The majority of the teachers at Harbor are very understanding and enjoy teaching their classes. I have created amazing bonds with most of my teachers, they try to create lessons that will make learning fun.

The new principal's tenure has unfortunately become a catalyst for discord among parents, as her decisions and policies have eroded the community's trust and goodwill towards this cherished school. Through a series of unpopular changes, she has unwittingly united parents in their dissatisfaction, ma...
