Saint Joseph high school was a tough school if you were favored by any of the administration. Saint Joe's showed a lot of favoritism. They also showed a lot of discrimination to families with lower incomes specially because you had to pay to go to school there. St. Joseph is hiring academics specially because you have to take a religion class which other schools in our area didn't have. It is a small old rundown campus with only new technology you had to pay for.

Students are generally very kind, although they could be more accepting. Teachers and staff are very kind and are always looking out for you. Academic program properly prepares you for college. Athletics are also very popular and focused on. The arts programs are slowly developing as well and are very good programs.

I am an alum and both of my children have gone there. This school encompasses all that I want and need in order for my child to succeed. No school is perfect but I believe St. Joseph, under the lead of our current principal, has done a remarkable job navigating not only education but also the outside influences that our students are faced with.

7 children in our family have attended St. Joseph High School. The enrollment has always been below 600 during our years there. It's a close knit community with a lot of school spirit. Financial aid is available to many families. A previous post stated that the cost is double the tuition due to addi...

It is better than the other high schools in Orcutt, however it is all about getting money above all else. If you enroll, just be aware for everything else you have to pay for, you can double the amount of tuition. Its a money hungry "business" and there are about 10 other things youll pay for that y...

The kids at st joes are so friendly and respectful. They are kind to each other, and have excellent school spirit. The staff is very helpful but they do challenge the kids. You have to work hard to make good grades at St Joes.
