SCDS is an amazing school and 100% shaped who I am today. Sure, you are in a tiny bubble of people (parents - sign you kid up for outside of school activities) but there are never any safety concerns and because of the small grade sizes (mine was the biggest with 43 kids) you get to know everyone. It is expensive but you get every penny back with the great classes and incredible outdoor education field trips. (A week in Tahoe, 1 week rafting on the American river, coloma trip, camping x4 etc.)

DONT COME TO SCDS IT IS NOT A COST EFFECTIVE SCHOOL PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE 27000 $ AND BUY A NEW CAR

Excellent! We love SCDS and wish we could take the school and community with us when we relocate.

It was the hardest year for us. Many children are very entitled, very mean. The staff turns the other way. It is the parent's job to check in online to make sure your child does the work. Teachers do not let you know.
