The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

A very small town with many opportunities to meet people and grow relationships with them. I would want the teachers to be able to get on a personal basis with kids who are struggling, in order to help them succeed.

There is definitely not enough focus on academics at this school. With most of the town and school's focus on sports, it is very easy to "just get by" here. We have many teachers who seem not to care about the student's success, and as most are not very consistent, it is very common for students to not do their homework or even class work. The workload is relatively light. If a student wishes to push themselves at this school, they will have to do a lot of independent work and study.

The teachers at this school are not very consistent. They constantly extend deadlines and "give" grades. While all of the teachers are very knowledgable, many seem to have difficulty conveying this knowledge to their pupils.
