During my four years at Scotch Plains Fanwood High School I learned the importance of guidance. Deciding a college on you're own with no guidance or experience has been one of the most stressful moments ever but with the help of the teachers and staff college has become way easier!

I really enjoy Scotch Plains Fanwood High School. Something that I enjoy about the school is all of the clubs offered and how easy it is to get involved. I also love our school spirit, which makes sporting events very exciting. A lot of the teachers are flexible and very personable, making it easy to go to them when you need help with something. Something that I would like to see change is the requirement for a gym period. I think that if you are an in-season athlete, then you can be excused from gym during that season.

I think overall it is a good school with mostly helpful and good teachers. Howvever, Some of the teachers have poor skills at teaching the material.

Although the facilities inside of the high school are pretty awful, there are different activities for all students and the teacher's are usually enthusiastic and dedicated. The science and math department teachers are really strong, as is the music department.
