Seaside High is a good school. There are many opportunities to become learn and experience. But its hard to combat attitudes from some students. The teachers are all great and work hard to make students learn. Of course some will be better, others worse.

I liked the most about SHS is that a teacher that is now close to me helped me with math. I wasn't good at it until she had me come in during lunch and after school getting tutoring by her. I also love gearup, they push the students to apply to colleges. They make sure we are passing our classes, if we need anything they are all there for us.

I liked that Seaside High was a family to me and that I learned how to be my true self. I learned how to communicate with a diverse group of people from all walks of life. I became ready to engage life now as a college student.

Principal does not support teachers. Teachers are not qualified. Too many subs. Students are not safe. There have been multiple fights and race was a factor. Very sad.

My kid got shot there. They don't have effective teachers who are qualified in training.

The Rating number for this School isn't appropriate. The Score is much lower than a ( 5 ) It maybe better than it was years ago but Test Scores don't lie. And even a rating of ( 5 ) sucks.
