The environment can be difficult for non-teaching staff. The school leadership can be overly critical and there is a lot of scrutiny and micromanagement. I do hear the treatment of teaching staff is different, and there are a good amount of teachers who have been at the school a long time and love it. This is just my perspective for people looking to work here.

Villa is a superb institution. Upon entry to the grounds one is amazed at the expansive campus and gorgeous views of the mountain ranges to the east and west and Lake Washington. The teachers are caring and yet the classes are challenging. Math and science are a strong emphasis. Good kids come from Villa is the general consensus among local high schools.

This is a school that should be better known in Seattle.
