You will notice most of the old reviews are good and the new ones are not so good and it's all true. Beware sending your kids here if they are "different" or don't come from a well-off family. Boys of color and LGBT kids especially. The school likes to talk a lot about diversity but it's all for optics.

The Bush School is a school that looks great on paper and to for privileged and or white families, though as a black student of color, I don't see myself belonging there or represented at all. Many students at Bush have had to take the initiative when it comes to talking about under represented communities. Even though many teachers and staff at Bush is aware of this, nothing has been done by anyone.

bush is a very odd school. One big con is the math program, everyone I know who's gone to bush since kindergarten is doing not good in math. In high school most people have to take outside math classes. Middle school math needs some work as well. Also bush is very "equitable" and it prides itself on that, but it's very performative and comes at the expense of the students. There's no accelerated classes in middle school, and in high school there's no honors classes at all. It's a very one size fits all If you're ahead they pull you back to the same level as everyone else. They do a lot of dei work but it feels very and fake. in middle school two white teachers led a club for white students to 'teach them about racism' they ended up telling them that all black people were poor so they need to feel bad for them. It's a prep school, but they like to pretend it's not. DO NOT SEND YOUR KID HERE FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL. bush middle school does not prepare you for high school as all.

We’ve been really happy with our experience at The Bush School so far. Our kid actually enjoys going to school, which says a lot. What matters most to us is that he feels safe and supported, especially since he’s on the quieter and more shy side. The structured environment seems to work really well...

My time at the Bush School was very mixed as they were not very supportive and did not step in or try to help with any conflicts. They always agreed with the kid whose parents paid the most money during a conflict but the teaching was ok and about 65% of the teachers were nice. I would not recommend...

This used to be a good school. There are good well meaning teachers and staff here but there has been high turnover recently because the administration and board of trustees are rotten to the core and will use their power to silence anyone who disagrees with them. There are rich families who basical...
