Garfield High School provides a good education. The school is located in a diverse community and the student population reflects that. The music programs are outstanding.

garfield is top notch for the music program and it was great participating in that. there are some downsides like the location being in the middle of central district where there's violence

The academics are diverse, but the culture in the school could be more inclusive. Safety concerns such as bullying, mental health, gun violence, and violence are not handled as they should.
