I started 71st high school as a freshman in 2019, That had to be the best year until covid came. When covid came that stopped a lot of plans that me and as well as my friends had planned for the year, but it did however give me a lot more free time in what in what I wanted to major in and where my idea of going to college would be and that's how I came to wanting to major in nursing. Even though Covid-19 put a big rift on my high school life of giving me only limited time to do what I had planned on doing. I was still able to be a part of my high school's marching band, be apart of national honor society of high school scholars, complete college classes and graduate with my CNA 2 license and get accepted into all my colleges because of my academics, So I would say being a student at 71st has definitely helped me find myself.

At 71st high school is greet because the school give me a lot it give me hope to find myself to find what I'm gonna study. What I'm gonna do in my life. The teachers there help me a lot to manage my knowledge and everything and help me how to speak more language like for example, the English is my second language they hold me how to speak. It has to right and the principal is awesome good she everything tell as we how to manage study and outside world . I came from Puerto Rico and over there does education is bad right here when I go to America I learn more i have opportunity in life how my career as criminal justice. and their RTC in high school as the new for high school it give me opportunity. AJROTC at 71st high school teach me who to leader, and have responsibility in the workforce. I don't have nothing bad to tell about sending for high school because I have a good experience I have the tools .

The worst ever! As a teacher, as a parent and as part of the community. Everybody knows how bad this school is, but the School Board is doing nothing to help teachers, students and parents get rid of the principal

The new Administration staff Parker,Ray, Witherspoon and Porter are amazing for the school! Students as well as teachers are actually excited to come to school because they bring so much positivity to the environment. I pray that they don't leave. It seems like it is hard to keep good people at this...
