The school is overall very safe. The school is equipped with armed officers. The entrances are monitored very closely through an electronic lock system. Bullying is not a very common issue in this school. The students often practice emergency drills such as fire drills, intruder drills, and tornado drills.

I have personally attended this school from 6th grade to 8th grade and can say these things about the school: The bathrooms and the bleachers are next to never cleaned, teachers are more focused on handing out referrals or trying to send a student to ISS rather than actually teaching (Especially the...

Unhealthy school food, horrible teachers that don't teach as much as they should. Unreliable. The principal continuously is trying to kick out students that live in Blount County. The band director, Ms. McKay, doesn't teach band. My child had to teach herself her instrument without the help of Hope...
