I've enjoyed my time at Mill Valley thus far! I think it's a great school with great academics and sportsmanship!! I love it and recommend it to anyone who is deciding between this or Desoto!

I like the people and the environment but I found that Mill Valley is an athlete-based institution. They seem to be more focused on the sports structure than the academic. I understand that it's not a flaw for everyone and that some may prefer that, but as someone who doesn't do sports it gets difficult when there aren't many options in terms of academics.

We moved to be in the De Soto school district. They build on positive character traits and have a top down mentality rather than bottom up. MV is one of the best schools in the state. The school has many excellent offerings whether it be extracurricular or academic. The parents are involved and it has a good community feel. This school is drug ridden also known as pill valley, administrations turns away from stopping the problem. This school is in need of a major over hall in how it is run.
