GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The school isn't bad there's just a lot of drama and the school needs updating , the principals are strict with dress code and there's also metal detectors and vape alarms etc . The lunches are sometimes good and I feel like we could add more classes

Smaller sized school. Old school that needs updating. Below average education. Overall not the best school if you are looking to attend college, doesn't prepare you well for it.

I did not like much about Shenandoah Valley. As a vo-tech student I felt as if I was looked down on by teachers and other students. I also saw votech students removed from sports and extra-curricular activities as they might be late to practice due to returning home later from school. There was also a lot of unfairness when it came to rules, some would get away with things and others would not. There was also a very strict dress code, which was only enforced for some which coinsides with the unfairness. It is just not a good highschool to attend.

There are hardly any teachers who are of color despite most of the students being black, Latino/a, and Hispanic. 2. They have now enforced bag checks and metal detectors in the mornings which is completely uneth...
