Not very diverse in culture or ethnicity, but it is an extremely small school. The middle school was composed of grades 4-8 which was weird considering the huge age gap, but the classes were so small that there was never an overcrowding problem.

There are many opportunities for learning with technology including chrome books now, and a computer lab. One on one turoring is available, and special attention from teachers is not rare in a classroom.

We recently moved to the Shingle Springs area, and we have been so pleasantly surprised with how wonderful Miller’s Hill and Latrobe School District is. The small class sizes, learning atmosphere, and excellent teachers and staff make this place second to none.

We moved to the area for the highly rated schools and small town community and it was the best decision. Our kids thrived with the smaller teacher/student ratio and felt so welcomed. It was a stark difference from the previous school environment we were in and we were relieved to hear our kids happy...
