GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Lakeland High School is an amazing school for high school students. I have had so many great experiences here such as the opportunity to participate in various clubs and extracurricular activities. I've only had a few bad experiences with students and teachers, but not enough to impact my view on the school as a whole. This school and school district is so involved with making sure the well being of the students are kept up to par.

I think Lakeland High School is great. There are a variety of classes you can take, clubs you can join, and just after school stuff in general. Also, if there's a club that doesn't exist you would like to have, you can make that club with 1 teacher.

I enjoyed my four years at Lakeland. I remember it was a tough adjustment to make going from 8th to 9th grade because Lakeland is so different from Copper Beach. However I made many new friends over the years and have had many great teachers as well.

2 of my 3 children attended LHS. They were college bound, problem free kids. Pretty mediocre experience all around . Unless you have kids that are involved in sports, there isn’t much here to offer the scholar.

My child graduated in June 2009.While the Principal Mrs. Champ and Asst Principal Mrs. Yurish were exceptional as well as the staff I dealt with there are some issues within the student body that must be dealt with and I believe they were being properly addressed. I see someone mentioned the school...
