I have gone here all throughout my middle school years if you are contemplating on moving to Smyrna and sending your kids here don't. This school is awful the teachers are uninteresting and in one case continuously give quizzes every day on topics he didn't teach because he was too busy yelling at kids for not having a pencil. most of the kids are on drugs even the sixth graders. Most of the time the admins won't do anything about bad behavior because the alternative school is filled to the brim from the over compensative former administration. There is a really bad bullying and fighting problem these kids get awarded for not fighting. all in all this school is just awful i would not recommend this school to anybody.

I was there in 2012-14 and it was a horrible experience because I had teachers who would complain about the work ethics of students and also the administration was really rude to the students and would be so extra for no particular reason.

Why are so many teachers leaving SMS??? It appears they are treated very poorly, their computers are outdated ,their support is non-existent, Sad to see the kids being directly affected by this.

It's funny that the one positive review was written by a teacher with a child there. The school is a complete failure.
