My experience here was a good one filled with many memories that I will have with me forever. How ever starting to look into the future can be very hard to do. But Soquel and my counselor and teachers have helped me be prepared for that change.

Soquel high was a great school at times. But as someone who was in a college prep class it was sad to be told we can not look at other colleges due to out budget but sports had considered taking a bus to their game for just the parents. Jazz choir had the chance to go to universal for a couple days. Our school has had fires in bathrooms, false shooting threats, kids being arrested on campus. Bathrooms could use updateing but they also have one out of the two gender neutral bathrooms locked at all times. School sprit sucks no one cares and our council sucks at advertising things to students.

School is what you make of it. If you want to succeed, you can at this school but you have to be self-motivated and find your own opportunities.

Soquel High School is amazing! It starts with the admin and staff, includes the students, the district and the community. I am a teacher and see a lot of the forest for the trees. I love the way the admin and staff honor the students and their work, offer unending support, and communicate with paren...

I am a parent of 2 girls. My oldest graduated last year and is an electrical and computer engineering major at WPI in MA. I think she took almost every AP class offered at Soquel, one or two at Cabrillo. She was very well prepared for college. She made the dean’s list her first semester. My youngest...

Our son got all A's at Soquel High, but told us he didn't learn anything. He felt like the classes were two years behind. My husband and I tried talking to the councilor and principal, but they were no help at all and didn't care. We felt if our son continued he would not feel challenged and develp...

As with public school some teachers are fantastic and others lacking inspiration. Overall our children had a great experience and Soquel helped prep them for college
