The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I did not have a good experience at SGF. The students are very rude and constantly pushed me down and made me feel insignificant. The teachers are good most of the time, and most are passionate about their job and their students. Some of the teachers are scary and make even the nicest students cry. The classes I took at SGF, despite being AP or honor level did not properly prepare me for college classes. I wish to see change in administration and overall culture in SGF.

The teachers that I have come across are all great, they have pushed me to do well and have helped whenever I needed it. My counselor was very helpful whenever I asked for an appointment I would get in a timely manner and she has helped me to create the best four years of my high school career.
Irresponsible faculty and administrators that do little to nothing in promoting the welfare of young adults. More concerned in collecting a paycheck than doing what is right and proper to improve children's lives.
As a student here The staff is amazing the support and opportunities are endless. We have an amazing music director and arts program , it has improved so much over the years.

I always felt that I could be open with my teachers and the staff and administration instilled several ways in which anyone who was having a hard time would be able to get help. We were always encouraged to tell someone if we were having a hard time, and I always felt c...
The school was mediocre in the 90's and has progressively improved with academics and declined in student care. Bullying is an issue and the school is ineffective in dealing with students with issues. The suicide rate within the district is disturbingly high!
