I had no help with my applying to my colleges from my counselor, but other than that the school is a pretty good learning environment .

Sparta high school offers a variety of classes at different academic levels with a large focus on sports activities. The school is not overall ethnically diverse. Overall, the high school provides an average or above average education. Staff and administration is usually helpful, although there are a select few teachers that may not fall under that category.

The Sparta BOE currently spends all its time and financial resources on bogus culture war initiatives such as book banning. The schools are over crowded, resources are being removed, nurses and teachers are being cut or resigning and our children are paying the price. Their ineptitude ended up in a...

Both of my kids had a horrible experience at SHS. Very overrated. Most of the teachers & administrators are miserable. If your child is not in the chosen circle they will not flourish. The students leave a lot to be desired. A lot of shenanigans & bullying just swept under the rug. Don’t believe the...

When she got to the high school it was an even better success in both academics and outside the classroom. I cannot tell you...

My children have all graduated from SHS, all have gotten into their #1 choice of colleges and all are having great success in their college careers. SHS is very competitive, and colleges see that by the class rankings. I think the kids who complained in previous comments didn't put in any effort but...
