I would say that Speedway is honestly a good school. It doesn't get as much recognition as other schools but it is really an underrated high school.

I love this school academically and can't praise it enough about how it's taught me in certain aspects. It has also helped immensely by the teachers giving me connections to people to help expand my knowledge on the world of journalism and Computer science to help me decide what career I want to pursue in the future. it has its downsides to though because it has also shown me that it needs a lot of work to truly accept its students from different backgrounds. They need to do better as a community in that perspective,

Some of the things I liked about when I was at speedway were the music department and ap classes. AP classes helped me challenge myself and in a sense helped me toward college. I enjoyed the music and drama department because I had an outlet to be creative and do something I like.

I do not reccomend this school. If you think about sending you child to this school think again. The school spent half a million dollars on a football and new track feild (previously the school already had both and they were fine and not notiblty rundown.) while most of their water fountains are bro...

Terrible staff. Vice principal is a complete waste...pulled my son out and sent to k-12 waaaaay better!!! Also have a lawsuit filed against them for billing my son

Grades new students by their past, they are bias and ill conceived when it comes to new students with old records. Upper echelon even goes out of their way to get your son/daughter out asap if there were ANY issues in past schools. Be weary. Even calls parents to call them names. Unprofessional to s...

I am so proud of our schools in this community and am constantly impressed with their accomplishments and awards. We are fortunate to have a public school that provides a private school education and maintains the values and closeness of our small town.
