I have had two students go through St. Marin of Tours Academy. I loved the fact that they do not give homework until 4th grade which provided time for my kids to be kids after school. Learning at your own pace does not mean your child will fall behind but rather not to compete with the classmate who may learn it a little quicker or a little slower than you. My oldest son is a freshman in high school and was on the honor roll his first semester a with no trouble transitioning to high school. The school also has an excellent science and STEAM curriculum in the upper grades which have brought home many awards in competitions such as Sea Perch and STEAMMAKER Fair that other schools in the area do not even participate in. I believe Workshop Way has given my children experiences that will carry over into adulthood such as ease of public speaking since they do it daily in class. I would recommend it for parents who are looking for a dynamic way of teaching for their children.
