Cesar Chavez High School was a good school. The teachers were very welcoming and helpful for the most part. The food was okay but the best thing they had was the nachos. Breakfast usually always had a good option as well.

Chavez to me is a average highschool. The classes weren't too bad, it pretty much depends on the teachers you get and if your actually trying and doing your work. Some classes can be fun to be in and others are a little challenging. The school is very diverse and they try to include everyone in. Although I didn't get the best high school experience (due to COVID) I still enjoyed my time there.

I'm a sophomore attending this school. The school has some good and bad teachers. The music program is awesome though and is passionate. The block schedule is great since you not stuck with the same classes all year and get a chance to earn more credits. The students here are good.

Watch out for open enrollment, it attracts every problem kid from all over Stockton. The administration does not deal with disruptive kids decisively and that leads to chaos in classrooms. Teachers watch out, you will be blamed for actions of these disruptive students. The administration hires and e...

If your child goes to this school, please go to ctc.ca.gov to check the license of his/her teachers. Many teachers in Cesar Chavez are teaching subjects they do not have license for.
