Sweet Home is a good school that has lots of diversity with the exception of its teaching staff. Administration is good overall, but students love their principal who is great at connecting with them. My children for the most part enjoy their school experiences, especially the Pep Rallies and Powder Puff games. They also raved about the Stars program. The only complaint I had from my children were that their teachers are absent a lot.

Everyone here is welcoming if your a new student I would recommend going to this school and the schoolwork is easy and if you need help with work they have a place called AAC where they help you with your work

What I like about Sweet Home is that the teachers are always there for you and it feels like a community. There are a lot of rude students at Sweet Home but the majority of the people that go there are very nice. The academics are okay. Advanced classes aren't that hard but still challenging. Overall I enjoyed my time at Sweet Home and have made great memories from there.

I have two kids enrolled and this has been their first year. It’s been amazing because the staff care so much. Any time I reach out the staff responds promptly and really work with my kids to make sure they are on track. Student Services, teachers, and school counselors have all been phenomenal. My...

As a student, I would have to say our school is pretty average. Depending on the courses you take you can get a great education and manage to enjoy yourself with extracurriculars. Currently we are having a slight issue with our administration. Our principal from last year was removed because he was...

Sweet Home High School, like the district itself, is undergoing a massive socio-economic demographic shift in a downward direction as inner-city residents pour into the western part of Amherst. The school still provides opportunities to excel academically -- lots of AP courses, college courses throu...
