The time I spent at smoky was pretty great the teacher was amazing. The people they hired was such great people they would always be there to help students that was in need. They was harsh they was fair though that was a main thing that stuck with me about most teachers. When I did hear we had a teacher that would go off the rails at students it would usually be the new teachers which I would think is typical. But that's my experience with the school and teachers.

Smoky Mountain High school grew me into the person I am today. The staff are some of the most caring people and my peers are kind and friendly. One thing I would like to see staff and students look out for, is the way sophomore year goes for some students. Sophomore year was really hard for me, I wasn't connecting with any of my teachers and I didnt have many friends in my classes. I did good grades wise, but felt a little lonely

For the most part, I enjoyed my time at Smoky Mountain High School. It does lack when it comes to academic opportunities but they try to offset that by offering out of school opportunities when it comes to things like dual enrollment.
