The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall my experience was amazing, there was so many classes offered and I enjoyed every class I took. We also had a great and connected community, our school culture was awesome and everyone would go to the football games and have a good time. The teachers and admidistration were great and very involved. The only thing I would say could improve is the cafeteria food quality and the amount of periods we have at school not being 9 periods.

For the best... the second a student gets into a fight or threatens a school shooting (happens maybe once or twice a year) it's always shut down. Also fights are uncommon to begin with. For the worst, there are truly awful and disturbing teachers who work here despite most of them being great.

I enjoy waking up and going to school every day because I believe Sylvania Northview is a safe, fun place to learn and live life. The teachers at my school try their best to provide every student with the best experience possible. I do not enjoy the food provided, as there is not enough for a full meal for myself, and the quality of food provided is not great for how much I pay for lunch. The athletics and athletic facilities at my school are top-notch, as I am able to be the best athlete I can be because of this. I enjoy my school, and I think it would be a great place to send a kid to learn and most importantly be safe and cared for.

Join color gaurd! They have a pretty cool community! :) If you don't know what that is it is the people who spin flags with the band.

They don’t believe in science and will intentionally expose your child to diseases. Also, my child has eighth period lunch. What is the point of that? They have to go the entire day without food only to get lunch right before they leave.

I went to Northview as a student and I made sure my child attended as well! Amazing supportive environment and nurturing atmosphere. Can't go wrong!
