I'm incredibly frustrated with Henderson Hammocks. My autistic son was set to start kindergarten this year, and the entire process has been a nightmare. I contacted the school in March to ensure my son's RBT could accompany him, and Ms. Rosado confirmed this. However, when I began the process in June, the key contact was on vacation, and I was shuffled between different people. Despite rearranging my other children's schedules, communication was poor, and I had to follow up constantly. After numerous emails and two school visits, I was told to wait until the school year starts to see how things would work out. With only two weeks before school starts, I was informed they can't accommodate my son's needs after therapy or assist with safe transport. Frustratingly, if I don't actively call, they don't get back to me. The last-minute decision to drop my child, impacting my other two kids, is unacceptable. The management has been poor, and the support has been deeply disappointing.

We are very happy with Henderson. My son loves his 2 teachers. The school is very safe for students and look forward to many more years at Henderson.

Do NOT send your children here. I went to this school for nine years and know firsthand that it is not good. The administrative team do not care about you or your future at all. They just degrade you and set precedents in your head that will stick with you in a traumatic way. Back when it first open...
