Just down the block from sprawling Corbell Park in South Tempe, Kyrene de los Ninos serves more than 400 children in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade as part of the Kyrene School District. With a commitment to inspiring growth and valuing everyone, every day, the faculty here encourage children to learn in and outside of the classroom. Among the most notable programs at the school, the Kyrene de los Ninos Student Council provides a rare opportunity for elementary school children to run for president, treasurer, secretary, or historian, and learn more about civic duty through firsthand experience. Here, elected students can help in the planning of a number of events at Ninos, from a spring carnival to school spirit days. In addition to the core curriculum, children also receive special instruction in the arts, library, music, and technology, not to mention physical education. Students can participate in a gifted program and the before- and after-school Kyrene Kids Club to help keep them active and engage every day. Not only does Kyrene de los Ninos School uphold a strong set of morals and a rigorous academic curriculum to match, but they offer plenty of opportunities for students to grow emotionally as socially.

On November 11, 2023 I applied for the preschool assistant position. I’ve been working with kids for over 15 years and I wanted to change over and work with kids in a school setting. I was emailed from the principal on November 24, 2023 asking if I would be able to do an interview. I was so excited...

While the dual language program has moved over to Del Norte, I have to say this is the best public school I've ever seen. This was my sons first year here, 4th grade and moving from out of state. He had some behavior issues at the beginning of the year and his teachers never once gave up on him and...

Our experience at this school for the past five years has been a very positive one. Both my girls have truly enjoyed their experience there. I believe communication is ideal with any educational situation so whenever I have had a concern I have quickly contacted the teacher and/or administration. An...
