With a vision “to foster high-achieving, bilingual, biliterate, and culturally aware students who are ready to contribute to a global society,” Kyrene del Norte Elementary School serves more than 450 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. As a Dual Language Academy in the Kyrene School District, the school provides students with opportunities to reach high-level proficiency and fluency in Spanish as a complement to English learning to better prepare students for the 21st century. With a rigorous focus on all academics, Kyrene del Norte often ranks in the top 10% of all elementary schools in Arizona with reading and math test scores well above the district and state averages. Aside from music and arts instruction integrated into the curriculum, children here can also benefit from a number of extracurricular programs including a gifted program and the before- and after-school Kyrene Kids Club. This invigorating club allows children to participate in play-based learning and activities in addition to supervised homework time. The school has a four-acre extension of its campus as it borders Redden Park, which serves as an extra playground for students and the surrounding neighborhood. With the Kyrene Kids Club integrating fun into learning, this esteemed institution helps children to look forward to attending school each day so they may develop their interests and strengths through a variety of avenues.

My kids are targeted by staff. They will allow students to hit them but if my kids defend themselves then they get introuble.
