GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Lots of AP offerings and dual enrollment with the county's community college are a plus. Sports teams are competitive. School is safe. Class offerings are robust however they at times have issues finding qualified teachers for certain high level courses. While they offer a lot of tech classes such as cybersecurity and computer networking they do not offer AP options.

It's okay, as a student with a GPA of 4.1 the school gets you ready for all your classes but Bedford is so poor so we don't really get much other than sports and classes.

The best part of BHS is how caring the teachers are. The worst part was the cliques. I loved attending the school but would like to see more fun senior activities.

The first thing administrators do when you have a personal problem with a teacher is check whether or not your grades are high. And if they are high then they completely dismiss the problems you have because surely you have 0 issues if your grades are high. If you have low grades then you’re barely...

This is a toxic place! Didn't realize how bad it was until we moved to one of top schools in Ohio. I'm a professional educator and am appalled at the quality of education here. The only reason it's rated a 7 is because there is a group of great families that value learning despite the poor teachers...

I agree that B.H.S. has excellent teachers, whether you are below average, at pace, or above average. The faculty all care about the students and want nothing but the best, from the lunch staff to the principal. The original facilities, however, is in dire need of repairs and is, and has been repeat...
