Has really good academics, fairly good teachers and a good college counseling department. It's a pretty small school, not much school spirit, not very diverse . Students are very competitive and also very rich.

Its overall a good school. It severely lacks school spirit and isn't very focused on STEM courses—much better for students more focused on humanities—but it's a good school with good amounts of competition. It also lacks diversity as there is a huge population of white folks, followed by Asian people. There is extremely limited black and latino representation, not only among students, but among faculty as well.

Blake is an incredible school for many reasons and for me the top would be the talent of its educators. Blake develops independent learners and fosters a curiosity of life long learning. We found Blake to be diverse and open to evolving for its students and faculty. They are committed to their families and there is a deep sense of community. The students test scores alone boast excellence. We were not originally open to the idea of a private education for our children but the experience for us has been priceless. The low student to teacher ratios ensure your child will be engaged and supported based on their needs. When touring other private schools Blake stood out. We love that they prioritize children's mental health and wellness- Children regularly meet with their counselors and are immersed in nature. The passions of their educators is undeniable. The buildings are kept immaculate and their safety/ security is next level. I encourage anyone to visit Blake who may be curious.

Exceptional in every way. We started at public schools- but absolutely no comparison to the quality of education our child received at Blake. The teachers and staff are 100% committed to each child’s success and instills a lifelong love of learning. This school has brought out the best in our child,...

The Blake lower school is in a crisis right now. Blake has always been a wealthy school where parents sent their children to make the right type of friends, but in the past that was also supported by rigorous academics and cordial relationships between families and the school. Everything has been sl...

It’s sensitive to diversity and inclusion. The students have a close relationship with their classmates, like extended family. The te...

Blake has really been a great place for our kids, and especially during Covid, they were well prepared with distance learning and hybrid models that evolved with the current pandemic status. A high percentage of the kids are involved in music and sports, which is open to anyone who is interested. Th...
