I have been going to Latin School since I was in 1st grade. I have had an incredible experience here at Latin. I have made lifelong friends, have had incredible teachers, I have been involved in sports starting at an early age, I have had fantastic opportunities to grow and learn about my city of Chicago, and the world around me, and I feel very prepared for college. I have really nothing but positive things to say about my Latin experience and I will miss it dearly.

As a POC at Latin I wish there was more diversity or at least funding in the activities that other POC at latin tend to do such as dance or chorus.

Our son attended Latin for three years. It was not a good experience. There is very little diversity in the student body and even less in the faculty and administration. It is also a very classist community that borders on toxic. In the three years there, our child's dyslexia was not recognized and his frustration was mischaracterized as behavioral problems. We were happy to leave.

I would rate my experience at this school a 10/10. Latin has developed me into the strong, confident, hard-working, resilient, and passionate person that I am today.

Terrible experience at the Pre-K. Some parents were able to hold children a year behind, so there is an age gap. Teacher focus on pleasing parents more, than on educating kids. No structure, too small class sizes. No diversity.

My daughter transferred to Latin in the 3rd grade and continued through high school. It was an excellent experience for her. In college, she often wrote about how well prepared she was for college. She went to an Ivy League college. At Latin, she learned how to think, how to study, how to aim high,...

I must tell you that my son's experience has been the mirror opposite. Yes there are some kids that come from vast wealth, We DO NOT h...
