The staff and administration make sure that you are do everything that you need to do in order to graduate. However, their food isn't always good(unless you like eating pizza every day I do not recommend), the bathrooms are always locked at a certain time, and the number of fights that happen at this school is insane. At least the IB classes are a good GPA boost. Also, the school store is open every Tuesday and Thursday and everything costs $1 so it's not like you're going to go broke. It's a good school overall, but the students in it and the fact that the school is very old does not help.

Overall throughout the hears of being at Thomas Jefferson I enjoyed myself at times. It is difficult sometimes to get things done unless you are overally focused. People fail & also become successful at this school it's about how much work and effort you put in to chase your dreams.

My experience at Thomas Jefferson wasn't the best. As soon as we got back from the quarantine they didn't help us transition back into in-person school from virtual, One of my teachers were in competition with me rather helping me grow and learn she never validated me and I had the highest grade in the class and my counselor had to go in and give me the credit of completion because she didn't and I almost at to retake the class. Those are just some of the things that really affected me in a negative way.

The community here is incredible. TJ is an amazing school. There are problems to be addressed, sure, but if a student needs something, they will get it. If a parent needs something, they will get it. Scores do not communicate the entire story of a school and should be reviewed VERY carefully.

Horrible. Absolutely awful. The 3/10 rating is generous.

The teachers care and the community takes ownership in the school. Overall a positive outlook.

I was once very proud to be a part of the Tee Jay staff. No longer can I say that! We experienced at least 3 fights a week in our cafeteria. Even though we all new this was the hotspot, our principal never came to the cafe! Our school was totally out of control this year. Many staff including myself...
