Judging from my experience, Winnisquam Regional High School is a very enlightening and sufficient school. The teachers are friendly, the education provided has quality, and it is a safe environment for students.

Not enough offered for those kids that excel in academics. More focused on putting all funds toward Title I kids, which I understand is needed, but the kids at the other end of the spectrum need to be challenged and to keep learning.

Like all of the places that I've lived in, it has its ups and downs. While the programs are interesting enough, the music program especially, the students left something to be desired. There are many teachers here that I really like although it doesn't seem like a good idea to get too attached to any teacher or the principal as the school loses handfuls at a time for better job opportunities. The rules and prices of things change each year to something more ridiculous or expensive.

I currently have a senior and a sophomore attending Winnisquam this year. Honor students and very involved athletically. Every school district has it's pros and cons.
