GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I wouldn't have chosen any other school to go to other than Whitmer High School. Whitmer High School has fantastic opportunities to educate you about career opportunities. The teachers at Whitmer High School only want the best for their students.

The staff is wonderful and do the very best to keep everyone safe and comfortable. I got very close to my teachers in the year and a half I attended.

This school has some very tricky issues but it is a good school. The staff works very hard to highlight the students when possible and work with what very very little they are given. I work here as well as being a student and honestly there is no communication between staff members at all. They are...

I will say that my son really enjoyed his short 5 weeks at Whitmer. He was 5 weeks into his Freshman year when the school unenrolled him without verbally speaking...

I would do a lot of things to avoid coming here ever again. Made my anxiety and depression worse. Other students will harass you. The bathrooms could be cleaner. Some of these teachers don't do enough teaching and just whip piles and piles of work onto you. At lunch they make you pay for the good st...

I don't even know where to start. The problem is the district, the superintendent, and the board primarily. There is so much disorganization administratively. They are dishonest and do a lot of hiding and making excuses. The special education department is incredibly poor. Their primary goal appears...
